This trail is part of The Carolina Thread Trail. These portions of the trail are owned by The Catawba Lands Conservancy other parts are by easement, or generously allowed by private landowners. Special permission is needed to place caches on other areas of the trail. We received permission from the CLC.

When we first placed caches on this trail we left this area open with the hopes a younger, braver cacher would put one on the rocks or trees across the water. When we didn't find anyone Psycho enough we thought we'd place a regular container filled with goodies for your enjoyment.
