This is the first geocache that we have placed. The name of the cache represents our daughter who was 13 when we got our first puppy named Apollo in 2013. The orbit part of the name is the street near where the cache is placed, we felt that all of these things came together quite nicely in the naming of our first cache! Getting a puppy was a huge deal for our daughter who had only ever had a cat and a couple of hamsters as pets, why not represent this milestone in her life by placing a geocache!? We have placed a travel bug to get started on its journey, the name of the travel bug is Apollo's Adventures in which the goal is to travel to Harlem, New York to visit a cache that is near the Apollo Theater.
There may be some minor bushwacking involved, nothing major but you might not want to wear flip flops!
There are homes nearby this cache, you do not need to venture onto anyone's property to retrieve this. It is placed on an empty lot!
