Geocache Description:

This cache set up in spring 2014 is part of a water based series designed for LIVING SKIES – HUMAN POWERED WATERCRAFT EVENT at SHANNON LAKE (GC557X2). Please  look for the cache  as part of the July 17 LIVING SKIES event. Watch for more caches closer to the event. All are designed to be found FIRST as part of GC557X2. Some will be published only on the day of the event.

If you find this cache, consider picking up another cache that is nearby and couldn't be published because it was too close to another cache. It's located at N 52° 38.395 W 105° 25.688 And by "picking it up" I mean removing it and either hiding it yourself or getting it back to me somehow and I can hide it again. Thanks for your efforts and thanks for coming out to this lake. Enjoy!

All caches are on public land and cannot be reached except by a watercraft.  Once winter arrives and the lake is solid ice, there will be other ways to reach our caches.  Please leave the FTF for those participating in the event which starts on Thurs., July 17 at 10 am.  All are welcome to join us!

This was our second attempt to hide caches out here.  On our first attempt, there were large rollers coming through the forest.
