Emile Francis was born on September 13th, 1926 in North Battleford Saskatchewan. He started his hockey career as a goalie, but made a huge impact  in the coaching ranks and was known as executive Vice President, GM and coach of the St. Louis Blues of the NHL. He was inducted into the HHOF in 1982 in the builder catagory.
