Hobler Park Cache Traditional Cache

Please be respectful of the environment by remaining on the mowed paths.  The cache is along one of these trails, approximately 0.13 miles from the parking area.  Hobler Park also has a small playground, portable toilets, and a gazebo.  Park is open from dawn to dusk.

Hobler Park consists of 50 acres of mostly flat open meadow in various stages of succession.  Fields are mowed periodically to halt the successional process and keep them from turning into forest.  While navigating the web of trails across this landscape you might see hawks, egrets, red-winged blackbirds, an occasional garter snake and plenty of other wildlife.  Rustic benches along the trail provide good views of the Princeton Ridge, local farms and historic Blawenburg.  Maps and additional trail information are listed at the New Jersey Trails Association website http://njtrails.org/trail/hobler-park/
