Geocache Description:

Wechquetank-2

This is the 2nd  cache that Team_Zigbot’s placed here. Last was back in Sep of 07, then they did some restoration work on the site and tore out the old iron fence which removed the cache and a good place to put it.  Well Wechquetank is back as a new nano. The GZ location and the hiding spot is also very typical of other caches.

This cache is located at the site of the Moravian's 1760 Indian mission station. This is one of three historic site in this area. The other two are Fort Norris 2.5mi to WSW in what is now Kresgeville (N 40°54'7.48" W 075°29'28.83") and Meniolagomeka Indian Mission, 5.1mi due South along Mountain Rd South of Chestnut Ridge and Kunkletown (N 40°50'14.32" W 075°26'6.22") .

This cache area is a monument erected by the Moravian Historical Society. There is no need to enter the fence. This will be an easy cache for most everyone. It's a nano and possibly might even be wheelchair accessible. The area is grassy around the fence and there is not much for parking; Mill Pond Rd. is lightly traveled, but still there’s enough room to pull off.

Container: Color coordinated Nano

Congrats to Bus catchers for the FTF
