Keith Allan was born in Saskatoon on August 21st 1923 and had a long minor league career from 1939-40 to 1957-58. 2 of those years he did make it to the NHL and won a Stanley Cup with the Detroit Red Wings in 1954. After his playing days, he established the Maine Mariners in the AHL and remained in hockey on the buisness side.
He was inducted into the HHOF as a builder in 1992 and he died on February 4th, 2014.
