"The Rider Nation" Just hearing it gives any pure blood Saskatchewan Roughrider fan a sense of pride and unity to be from this province and to be a Rider Fan! We may not have won a lot of Grey Cups, but we have been to the final a lot of times with many great Rider teams. From the days of George Reed and Ronnie Lancaster to our convincing home field win of the 101st Grey Cup, we have supported our team like no other fans have or ever will. Where else will you find grocery stores sell out of watermelons the day before a Rider game? That's a lot of watermelon helmets and green face paint! The Riders sell more merchandise than all other CFL teams combined and together they don't even come close to our sales. We are even ranked up there with the top selling professional sports teams of the NFL and NHL. Now what other CFL team can say that? Well, none of them! What other CFL teams can fill other teams stadiums half full with their team jerseys? Well, none of them. Now that's pride and support of your team! Now that's Rider Pride!!
