The Locks and Weirs are found along the River Murray are always worth a visit
They always feature well cared for lawns and gardens perfect for a picnic, or just a break from the road.
The veiws are great and they usually have small information walls that give some background to the area.
We have visited many of our local locks and usually there is a cache already there, we couldnt belive our luck when our local lock didnt have one and thought "we better change that"
This locks is only open during the day from 8am to 4.30pm- this can be a muggle heavy area between the lock staff and tourists so get your stealth boots on.
