A meeting for cachers on the Jetty at Morecambe. We would like cachers to decorate their own JAM JAR LANTERN and bring them to the event so we can LIGHT UP THE JETTY at sunset (you don't have to have a lantern to attend.)
The jetty at Morecambe offers some fantastic sunsets looking over the beautiful Lake District. This event will give cachers the opportunity to take photos of the sunset, meet other cachers, swap TBs/coins and of course gain their event Sociable Souvenir for August whilst lighting up the Jetty with our Jam Jar Lanterns (please do not bring Chinese lanterns as we do not want to cause any harm to the environment or animals).

As this event is outside and it can be quite windy at times on the jetty, please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather, but fingers crossed it will be a warm sunny evening!
Please ensure if you are bringing children that they are with a reponsible adult who can light a tealight candle for their lantern for them and they remain under your supervision at all times. We will not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries which may occur at the result of using your lanterns. Please take your lanterns home with you afterwards, or you could even swap with other cachers as a souvenir!
