Family:  Gnaphosidae.

Average body length: 3-17 mm.

Identification:  Long. Grey to dark brown. Short thick legs.

Habitat: In grass, under rocks and in waste.

Customs: Night living. Catches prey using speed and strength.

Venom: Harmless to humans.

Web: Does not build a web.

Food:  Insects like ants and other spiders.

Reproduction: Not available.
