Geocache Description:

This cache is SirJ-Oz's eleventh cache (a reworking of the eighth cache John's Silver). It is a mystery cache with a bit of a difference - a scavenger hunt.

The coordinates are bogus, the cache is not there, however The Pirates (the Nunawading Junior Cricket Club) was based here.
The cache is within 1.5 nautical miles of the given coordinates.

John's Silver V2

Arrr, me hearties. I've plundered a kings ransom in pieces of eight and, like any self respecting pirate, stashed the lot... er... um... somewhere (but different from the last time because muggles kept plundering me loot).
Hmmm, <pats pockets>, I know I had the coordinates written down somewhere, I just can't remember what I did with them (Arrr, you'd think I'd have be learning me lessons from the last time).
Oh dear, I hope I didn't put them down somewhere...

In order to find the cache, you must first find the Longitude and Latitude coordinates (and have logged that you did).
Next, go to the coordinates and find the marker telling you where to go next.

I'd appreciate if finders of the previous incarnation of this cache waited until the FTF has gone before revisiting (WP1 is the previous version's GZ). Of course, there is nothing I can do to stop you from doing this.

FTF honours goes to atsmug (doing it right) and TrailRunning and Rebel Acts (being scalliwags)

Update 2020-11-18: It appears the junior team that was here either is no longer called the Pirates, or has ceased to be (somewhat like an ex-parrot). This does not have any effect on the cache.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
