Niigata prefecture is located in the northeast of Chubu region, facing the Sea of Japan. The major industry is agriculture, rice is the principal product. The area around Uonuma city is well known for producing the Koshihikari rice, The rice produced in Uonuma is the highest quality in Japan. Rice related industries are also very important to the Niigata’s economy, also famous for its high quality Sake, Rice cake, and Rice cracker.

So, let's get down to Geocaching ! The cache is hidden on the stairs in front of Niigata station south entrance. If you are in a hurry, please refer to the spoiler photos.
Pay attention to the surrounding muggle. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!!

新潟というと私は、雪・お米･お酒･角栄さん、更に広い県なので、花火とかフェスとかも…
皆さんは何を連想されますか？
因みに新潟県は、お米･お酒は当然ながら、えだまめ･チューリップ、更に神社の数が日本一だそうです。
ご当地グルメは、へぎそば･のっぺい汁･わっぱ飯･笹寿司･煮菜･けんさ焼…とか。
最近のソウルフードでは、イタリアン焼きそば･さばサンド･とん汁ラーメンなどがあるそうですよ。

で、いつも食べ物ばかりの紹介ですみません。まずはキャッシュを探しましょう。
キャッシュは、新潟駅南口の広場へ下りる階段(室)にあります。冬でも探せる場所です。
急ぎ(笑)の方は、スポイラー写真を参考に見つけて下さい。周囲には十分に気を付けて、素早く見つけて下さいね。
