La chiesa di San Rocco risale al XIV secolo ed è situata in posizione panoramica sopra Colico, lungo il "Sentiero del Viandante". Fino al XIX secolo era dedicata a San Sebastiano prima di assumere l'attuale denominazione. I recenti restauri hanno portato alla luce affreschi risalenti al XIV e XV secolo.
Consiglio di lasciare la macchina al waypoint indicato, la passeggiata sulla stradetta asfaltata è di 1,2km in falsopiano. E' possibile raggiungere San Rocco anche dalla località Posallo tramite un sentiero. Il 16 agosto vi si svolge la tradizionale festa, quindi se cercate la cache in quel giorno troverete tantissimi muggles.
The church of San Rocco dates from the XIV century and is situated in a panoramic position above Colico, along the "Sentiero del Viandante" path. Until the XIX century it was dedicated to St. Sebastian before taking on its current name. Recent renovations have uncovered frescoes dating from the XIV and XV centuries.
I suggest to leave the car at the waypoint, the walk on the narrow road is paved for 1.2 km on a slight slope. You can reach San Rocco also from Posallo via a footpath. On August 16, there is the traditional festival, so if you are looking for the cache on that day you will find many muggles.
