This cache is in a large container and has many trading items available. Inside there is also a pencil that is hooked on a string as well as a sharpener that can be used when needed. Lock no longer "springs open" You have to pull after turning the key.

History:
This section of the Big Tancook Island Road is known locally as the New Road. It was built during the 1950's to shorten the trek from the north side of the island to the south side. Before this road was built, people (including the school children) had to either walk through pastures, over fences and through a path in the woods, or travel the longer route along the South East Cove Road.
