The dreaded mosquito. A very annoying pest on the prairies and elswhere. Every year come spring time, the snow melts and we usually have veyr nnice weather. It's warmer and there are no pests, yet.... Then the dreaded mosquitos come out. The past few years have been terrible for them with all the rain and standing water, and with the long wet spring we have this year, they are the worst in a long time. I've said this for years, we don't have mosquitos, we have small F-18 Fighters attacking us! As geocachers, we know all to well how bad they can be. All we can do is apply a good quality bug spray with deet, keep your grass cut and get rid of standing water.
