Auchen Underpass is rather intriguing as it doesn't seem to lead anywhere significant. The concrete just stops at the top of the stairs. The cache is hidden beyond the end of the concrete. It's a good place to stand and watch the traffic go by on the motorway. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THIS CACHE FROM THE MOTORWAY AS IT IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DO SO!!! Parking is wherever you feel fit but I recommend parking by the railway bridge approx 50m from the junction going towards Auchen Castle, where there is room for a couple of cars. Please take care on the road, especially with younger cachers as the road can be busy. Litterbugs have unfortunately been in the area.
The cache is a regular sized tub with room for plenty of swaps and TB's. Please replace as found. Happy Caching.
