Custom Barriers

The fair land of Utopia can be visited by those with some cunning and perseverance. Tourists are virtually unknown in Utopia because of the unusual entry requirements imposed on the visitor at the Customs Gatehouse by King Popakapakettle the 4th. The traveler who wishes to visit this country must negotiate their way from the bottom of the Gatehouse and exit at the top, entering only once into each and every room through the 49 rooms of the Gatehouse. If you wish to visit also, you will need to collect the 7 arrows needed to unlock the final gate and enter into this fine country thereupon receiving a passport which you will be able to sign. The cache IS at the posted co-ordinates. If you attempt this cache at day time, from top of Mnt Pukematekeo, you will see the wonderful Waitakerie Falls plunging from the dam, look around and you will see Auckland and it's suburbs, I think we are very fortunate to have such a splendid and lush jungle right on our doorstep, Utopia you reckon? A couple of warnings: The gates up here and down lock at 9pm in Summer, 7pm in Winter. If you have to walk from the gates, it will take you 15 mins only to reach the summit. There is room for maybe 3 cars at entry gate and exit gate. Naturally the summit is a highly visited area during weekends, please be discreet in retrieving the cache and the logbook. Keep it well covered when you return it. Many thanks to AJ and her son for testing the puzzle for me and the feedback

About the lock:


1.Squeeze the shackle firmly toward the lock twice and release to 'clear' the lock each time before opening it. 2.Enter the combination by sliding the dial to each position, you must pull the shackle open when you think you have it, it won't just pop open. 3.To close it, just squeeze the shackle close.

Note: If you get the combination wrong, you MUST repeat step 1 then try again.
