PLEASE READ: As of the 27/07/2014 we have had to make several changes to this event. One of the main reasons, and the most positive, is the great response we have had from near and far for this event. Unfortunately, we have had to make a change in location and town for this event but I feel that we have been able to secure an even better location that offers great meals and even a spot for the GeoJnrs to play.
Tatura is located approximately 15 minutes from Shepparton and a great little spot for a catch up, swapping of stories and a nice meal. Date and time remains unchanged. I hope this does not upset anyone too much. See you there!
After some motivation from Cybergran V, and also the fact that the Shepparton area has not had a geocaching meeting or event for some time, on August 10 we thought that we would give it a shot.
This will also give everyone an opportunity to put faces to names from the new geocachers to those that have come out of semi-retirement.
The above coordinates will bring you to an eatery in Tatura, located at 162 Hogan Street. We have been able to arrange a room for geocachers to meet, swap stories, trade TB's and coins.
There is no cost associated with this, however, those that want to stay and pay for a meal can feel free to do so.
Starting time is 11:30am. Those that wish to stay for lunch can do so from 12:30pm. We plan to finish at 2:00pm.
Please post if you would like to stay for lunch so that Cybergran is able to make arrangements for this.
