The boat launch can be a very busy place in the Summer months. This means that there is more traffic and more garbage than any time during the year. This area supports a lot of different wildlife that can be harmed by what is left behind. Please come down for an hour to help clean the area. We will be concentrating on the waters edge and along the shore.
Bring something that you don't mind getting wet. If you would like to stay later, bring your kayaks if you would like and explore the water and islands around. All types of wildlife can be seen and if your fortunate, you might see a seal or two as well. There are also plenty of caches to be found if you would like to stick around for those after as well.
