[LT] Keliaujant Pamėnkalnio gatve, akį patraukia šis kompaktiškas trijų aukštų namas, išsiskiriantis perdėtu puošnumu, neoklasicistinėmis formomis ir simetriška kompozicija. Namą dar 1951 m. suprojektavo ir pastatė italų kilmės Leningrado architektas Giovanni Rippa-Angioletto.
Pastate iš pradžių įsikūrė kino teatras "Pergalė". Lietuvai atgavus nepriklausomybę, kino teatras buvo uždarytas, o namo patalpose vyko įvairaus plauko veikla – šokių vakarai "Kam per 30", veikė nelegalių CD krautuvėlės ir panašiai. 2004 m. pastatas buvo restauruotas ir tapo "Pramogų banku" - kazino, viešbučio, restoranų ir konferencijų salių kompleksu.
[EN] One of the most interesting sites while traveling Pamėnkalnio street is this compact three-storey house that stands out with its over the top fanciness, neoclassicist forms and symmetric composition. The house was built in 1951 by a Leningrad architect of Italian origin Giovanni Rippa-Angioletto.
The first and longest use of the building was a movie theater called "Pergalė" (Victory). After restoration of Lithuanian independence the theater was closed but some activities were still taking place in the facilities of the building (i.e. dance parties "30 and over", illegal CD market, etc.). In 2004 the building was renovated and became "Pramogų bankas" (The Bank of Entertainment) - a complex of casino, hotel, restaurants and conference halls.
