Geocache Description:

GRHARDY3 and I started the day bicycling from the parking area at Sooke Potholes to the Leechtown area where we parked the bikes and headed on foot with the goal of completing a 21km route that would take us down to the Todd Creek trail past Peden Lake and back up along the Lakes Carriageway; visiting Ridge Lake and Diamond Lake along the way back to Leechtown.

It was an epic adventure.  We thought that the first part of the hiking journey needed some more caches to fill in the gaps where none existed so we placed 5 more along the way. The cache is hidden in a root ball (hence the name) at the side of the logging road. Cache contains a few tradables plus a TB.
