Bow Falls is a major waterfall on the Bow River, Alberta just before the junction of it and the Spray River. The falls are located near the Banff Springs Hotel and golf course on the left-hand side of River Road.
The falls are within walking distance of both Banff and the Banff Springs Hotel so they are visited by a large number of tourists despite their relatively small size.
The 1953 Marilyn Monroe film River of No Return featured the falls.
Cache Type.
The surface of the tow path from Etruria Junction to the Stockton Brook road bridge is suitable for pushchairs, bicycles and wheelchairs. Strollers can be taken along the towpath, however reaching the cache with a stroller would be a problem without help. Further on from here the path is muddy and uneven. Caches have been located on the towpath or within a few steps of it
This is a 35mm container type, camo taped and magnetized, inside you will find a zip lock bag containing a log, please bring your own pen or pencil. Please ensure that you seal the zip lock bag and put the cache back into exactly the same place that you found it after logging your find. This will make maintenance so much easier. Thank you.
