Geocache Description:

Just 10,000 years ago you would have been standing on a beach. In front of you was a large cold lake, dammed by a fast-melting glacier. Ten thousand years earlier, the whole valley lay beneath a kilometer of ice! The Whitehorse valley has changed many times. Grinding glaciers, carving streams and rivers, uneven hillsides and lush green forests, kettle lakes and ponds have been among the changes over time.

Please email the CO the answers to the following questions.

1. What caused the clay cliffs surrounding Whitehorse?
2. What glacial lake filled this valley 12,000 years ago and is where Whitehorse International Airport is located today?
3. How did Grey Mountain get to be called Canyon Mountain by boaters?
4. Is Golden Horn a volcano?
5. How many meters or feet is the gravel/dirt road below the sign you are standing at?

Mount Mac View GC28QQ9 is a nearby traditional cache
