Miner Mole Traditional Cache

The Miner Mole cache will take you into mining country where muggles become miner moles. It will also lead you around an old open pit if you wish to proceed further along the drive and give you anther view of the mine. You will be able to turn around in the carpark at the end of the road. You will also be able to spot the large open pit trucks from time to time along this road.

This cache is located along a public road that takes the miner moles to their carpark located deep inside the mining compound. There is a couple of places to pull up and park while you search for the cache which is a very short walk away.

As the miner moles are always on the go, forever searching and mining for their valuable minerals you will need to keep a lookout for them as you will be visible as they go about their work or pass by. If you look like a tourist taking photo,s of the iconic smoke stack they will pass you by without taking to much notice.

The first to find this cache will be rewarded with a collectors coin marking the mines 90 years in Mount Isa.
