LET OP!! : De cache is sinds begin 2017 alleen nog maar via de Nieuwe Waterweg bereikbaar via een onverharde weg, vol met kiezels, stenen en kuilen. Lopend of met de auto te doen. Bereikbaarheid via deze onverharde weg hangt ook af of het hek op deze weg open is. Het laatste stukje weg is smal en avontuurlijk, maar goed te doen.
Dit gebied heet in de volksmond de "Papagaaibek". Tot 2012 was dit gebied een stuk groter, maar sinds de Gate gas terminal hier er is gekomen, is het grootste gedeelte afgegraven voor de terminal. Met name de openbare kustlijn is behoorlijk kleiner geworden. Echter nog steeds wordt de Papagaaibek intensief gebruikt door "zee"vissers. Men vangt hier kabeljauw, zeebaars, schar, makreel, etc.
Dit is ook recreatiegebied, rijd a.u.b. voorzichtig en langzaam!
De cache:
De cache is goed zichtbaar. Loop er omheen en je ziet hem vanzelf hangen. Vrij hoog. Let op bij het terughangen, alleen de spijlen zijn magnetisch. Probeer onopvallend te zoeken en loggen.
English: This area is know as the "Parrots mounth". It used to be a well known place for "sea"fishermen. Even today many people fish here. But most of the area has been removed when making the new port/terminal for the Gate gas Terminal.
This is also a recreational area, please drive carefully and slow!
The cache:
The cache is well visible. Just walk around it and you will see it. It hangs quite high (but not too high). When putting it back, note the only the 'bars' of the fence/gate are magnetic. Use stealth when searching and logging.
