Geocache Description:

A quick stop over between Bowen and Proserpine. If approaching from the North just pull over, if from the South it may be more tricky as you will need to cross to the other side of the road. Plenty of parking is avalible onthe eastern side of the road for a couple of cars or car and van, just stay clear of the gate.  Unless your lucky enought to have access to a key.

For many years our family has been visiting the beach at Kangeroo Creek.  The area is private property inside the gate/fence.  If your really lucky you will have a key to get through the gate here, or maybe you can gain acess as we do via friend.

Early in 2014 It was believed that "a SINK HOLE" had opened up on the orad just to the south of here.  But it turned out to be a large pothole.  You can see where the patch has been preformed as you cross Kangeroo Creek.
