Geocache Description:

They were famous for their sadism and cruelty, including using survivors for target practice. They were pirates between 1720 and 1740 after which they relocated to Le Havre, France.According to Philip Gosse in "The Pirate's Who's Who" (1924) and Horwood and Butts in "The Pirates and Outlaws of Canada" (1984), the Cobhams were among the first St. Lawrence pirates to become known for giving “no quarter”, meaning all the captured crews were killed and the ships sunk.

All the caches have log books most have pencils and toys for the children, please only take one thing per person and replace with something else of same or greater value. There are some tags in some of the boxes PLEASE only take one per team and leave some behind for others coming along after you.

If you are in a team please sign as a team name as there will be plenty of people and the log books will run out and that would not be good. No caches are hidden in walls.

There are plenty of cache boxes big enough to accommodate coins, tags and travel bugs.

Above all that you do today enjoy the walk
