Geocache Description:

John Rackham (26 December 1682 – 18 November 1720[1]), commonly known as Calico Jack, was an English pirate captain operating in the Bahamas and in Cuba during the early 18th century (Rackham is often spelled as Rackam or Rackum in historical documentation, and he is also often referred to as Jack Rackham). In 1719, Rackham sailed into Nassau in the Bahamas to take advantage of a general amnesty for pirates to obtain a royal pardon and commission from Governor Woodes Rogers. Rogers had been sent to the Bahamas to address the problem of pirates in the Caribbean who had started to attack and steal from British ships.

All the caches have log books most have pencils and toys for the children, please only take one thing per person and replace with something else of same or greater value. There are some tags in some of the boxes PLEASE only take one per team and leave some behind for others coming along after you.

If you are in a team please sign as a team name as there will be plenty of people and the log books will run out and that would not be good. No caches are hidden in walls.

There are plenty of cache boxes big enough to accommodate coins, tags and travel bugs.

Above all that you do today enjoy the walk
