The Northern New Jersey Cachers ( NNJC ) will host The 10th annual Geocachers of the North East ( G.O.N.E. ) caching and camping event. This year's theme is "Camping Fun"
Everyone, NNJC MEMBERS AND NON MEMBERS are welcome to come join in the fun! You do not have to camp to come out and enjoy in the event.
"G.O.N.E. 10 CAMPING FUN! "
The G.O.N.E Event has become a geocaching tradition in Northern New Jersey for the past 10 years when it started in 2005 as a three day event. Geocaches for all over the North East have come and enjoyed this camping event.
LOCATION: Kittatinny Valley State Park ~ Camping area
DAY EVENT: Saturday, August 16th, 2014 Starts 4:00PM, ends 11:00 pm for non campers and 11:00 am Sunday for overnight camping
PICNIC MEALS: Dinner will be pot luck, Please bring food to share, and post in your log what you will bring! there are grills available to cook too.
We need the following
Main Dinner items Hot dogs & rolls, Hamburgers & rolls sandwiches, etc...
Drinks Water bottles, iced tea, soda
On the side... Fruit Salad, Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, Salad greens, Assorted Chips
Dessert cookies, cakes, brownies, cupcakes
Other necessary items... Plates, utensils, napkins, cups, etc mustard, ketchup charcoal, fluid

CAMPERS: you must post if you are camping, we have a permit for a number of campsites which will be on a first come first serve. More info on registering can be found on NNJC.org shortly.
OPTIONAL MOTH STUDY: We are working with a New Jersey State Naturalist who may be available to set up a nighttime "mothing" event to see the thousands of variety of moths found throughout New Jersey. This is educational and a fun nighttime experience !
