The area surrounding the museum and this cache is worth a visit, especially during the frequent glass art festivals that take place throughout the year. On the weekends, in the studios behind the museum, you can see artists working and can even pay a small price to learn some tricks and make your own "masterpiece." Just down the way at the glass art street, you can buy cheap glass trinkets but also some fabulous (and expensive!) pieces of glass art. The weekend night market (that is actually open all day) and the newly renovated Hsinchu City Zoo are also close.
The cache container is hidden behind a rock. Since there are many rock walls in this area, I am including a spoiler pic of the rock that is hiding the cache container. Please put the rock back in the same way. Bring a pen/pencil. Feel free to post a pic of the log but please do not post pictures of the cache container.
