Geocache Description:

A simple park and grab along 302.   Gas saver for Silent Cedars.  Small pill container, not much room for swag, except maybe a coin or two.  Bragging rights only for FTF.  Be austere.

****Congratulations to Snowsunflowers for FTF! *******

Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.  Vermonters have grown up with this poem.   It tells us something about our ancestors, and can teach us to live more mindfully and economically through "Yankee Thrift".  In this time of economic difficulty, the geocaching community can join the fight, by using creatively (and some not so creatively) recycled, reused, or repurposed cache containers, and filling them with lots of junk, er, delightfully passed on heirlooms.  You can even pick some of them up while CITO!  Save the planet, geocachers!  Don't you feel thriftier already?  Oh, but there is all that gasoline we use.  There is that.

This four part series is inspired by the poem, and the people who were here before us.  They wouldn't be buying containers.  They would be reusing what they have.  In this case, my parents were very pleased to get some empty pill bottles off the shelf.  This is for you dad and mom!
