The Nurek Dam is the world highest dam, 300 m (984 ft) on Vakhsh River in Tajikistan.
The dam is located in a deep gorge along the Vakhsh River in western Tajikistan, about 75 km (47 mi) east of the nation's capital of Dushanbe. A town near the dam, also called Nurek, houses engineers and other workers employed at the dam's power plant.
Main instruction to find cache:
Please move by car about 70km to SE from Dushanbe till, after Nurek City, be stucked in parking place beside of military barrier. From this parking place you will be able to see giant fountain of water dropped from Dam to river.
Unfortunately somedays sluices are closed. In these days you won't see this beauty.
So, drop car, admire landscape, descend to river, feel happy. And start searching cache using coordinates.

Additional hints how to continue your fantastic journey (strongly recommend):
1) Ascention to Dam.
Tours for tourists is main business for local military officers.
DO NOT approach military barrier.
Officers-guides usually are sitting under trees between car park and path to river.
Ask officer about possibility to "buy ticket" to ascention to Dam.
20 EUR and officer agrees to be your guide.
Officer sits in your car and escort your ascention to Dam through all military barriers.
2) Sailing Vakhsh River up to Dam.
Just ask you guide, he calls to captain and boat will be puted before you. Just 10-20 EUR more.
