This Geocache will take you above the surrounding area to an elevation of 10009 feet. The views are breathtaking during all times of the year. Some of the area was burnt by the Little Bear Fire a few years ago, however the area is still beautiful and the wildlife are still calling it home. This location is a great place to see the stars at night and if you look to the east, you are able to see the lights of Roswell,NM. There are a lot of recreational oppurtunities in this area during all times of the year.
As you look for the geocache, especially with kids, it is NOT neccesary to cross over the guardrails or the safety railings. Please do not cross over the railings as the surrounding terrain is very steep and rocky. This cache was placed with children and handicap accessibility in mind, so that all may enjoy a find as they take in the views. Remember the camera when you go find this one as there are endless photo oppurtunities.
