The cache is hidden close to the Pollie Train Station on the Braamspruit road near Aliwal North. It is a small container with some goodies.
The train track runs through the farms in the district. Nowadays one hardly sees a train along these tracks that was built in the 1950’s. In those days it was the means of transport for the farmers and every few miles along the line a small station was built where farmers delivered their milk, eggs and farm produce. The train traveled each day to pick up the milk to convey it to the Creamery in Aliwal North (cheese factory). Hence a train stopping at every small little station or siding is called the “Melktrein” (milk train). Nowadays all that remains of the small station is the name and the structure of the small station building.
To find the cache, please locate safe parking close to the sation (waypiont available), as the cache is located next to a bend in the road. Do not get over any of the fences, as then you will trespass on private land. The cache is located in a rocky outcrop on the oppisite side of the station.
