This cache is hidden in one of two clumps of trees that are in between the north bound and south bound lanes of HWY 301. Here is a little history of Elm City: The town of Elm City was once named Toisnot. In 1873, it was renamed to Elm City. Toisnot is an old Native American name given to the settlers of the area for the swampy creek a short distance from what is today Elm City.
You are looking for a container about the size of a peanut butter jar. It has been painted black. It should be big enough for some trackables. Original cache contains a log book and a small plastic ring from my daughter. Congratulations to DukeRoom for FTF.
