On the morning the cache was placed I had a clear view into Red Rock Canyon plus a hot air balloon that had landed just shy of a neighborhood nearby. The road-closed signs and poles might get in the way, but a better viewing angle might be up higher. From the cache's perspective it would have a nearly unobstructed view, or perhaps a holey one.
Beware of muggles... past morning this intersection has a steady flow of cars! On weekdays this intersection has non-stop go-home traffic, not sure about the weekends.
