Geocache Description:

This is the first of 10 geocaches hidden by a retired teacher from the area. Once a teacher, always a teacher! A little story about the area always makes the geocaching experience better!  Good Luck as you follow US Rt 19 South from Exit 91 through to Flatwoods where you can jump back onto I-79. Or you can count down from 10 to one from Flatwoods to Roanoke! 

All caches are Park & Grab with swag!

Exiting I-79 at Exit 91, this area was once known as Rush Run Hill and has a history as part of the town of ROANOKE.  Weston is to the North on Rt. 19 and Roanoke is to the South. US Rt. 19 is the road used during the Civil War from Weston to Sutton, known as a Turnpike. On your maps you will see it detailed as Gauley Turnpike, but the locals just call it 19.
