Rt. 19 History Lesson #07 Traditional Cache

This is the second of 10 geocaches hidden by a retired teacher from the area. Once a teacher, always a teacher! A little story about the area always makes the geocaching experience better!  Good Luck as you follow US Rt 19 South from Exit 91 through to Flatwoods where you can jump back onto I-79. Or you can count down from 10 to one from Flatwoods to Roanoke!

Fall Run Methodist Church has stood for many years.  A true story:  When the church was being constructed, the doors of this church faced Rt. 19.  A heated disagreement arose within the congregation when some members wanted the doors changed to the other side. That week, before a vote could be made, the area flooded and the church was turned around to the position it now sits.  The congregation decided that since God wanted it facing that way, they would NOT change it!
