Geocache Description:

This is the tenth of 10 geocaches hidden by a retired teacher from the area. Once a teacher, always a teacher! A little story about the area always makes the geocaching experience better!  Good Luck as you follow US Rt 19 South from Exit 91 through to Flatwoods where you can jump back onto I-79. Or you can count down from 10 to one from Flatwoods to Roanoke! 

All caches are Park & Grab with swag!

Flatwoods is a town in Braxton County, West Virginia, United States located about one mile from exit 67 of Interstate 79.

The Braxton County High School stands proudly on the hillside. Centrally located in WV, Flatwoods is said to be the home of the FLATWOODS MONSTER.  Several businesses, Days Hotel, Flatwoods Mall, as well as several restaurants, and a Dept of Motor Vehicles office are located in the area.

Burnsville Lake and Sutton Lake are both located in Braxton County.
