Although the cache may look like it's along the shoreline, it IS NOT. It's on a tree branch and is NOT accessible from the private property along the nearby road.
Neither can you walk along the shoreline to get to the GZ, there simply is no access.
You will need water transportation to reach the cache once at the GZ, which is NOT reachable from your watercraft. You will have to get out of your boat at every GZ, and then climb up to some of these caches!!
This cache will take you to a put-in on Moodie Drive, just southwest of Ottawa, for your cartop boat. Avoid the Poison Parsnip and Poison Ivy down to the shoreline on the northwest side of the bridge. The east side of the road, up and over the guardrail, has none but is steeper.
I suggest pulling into the nearby RR control box to unload your boat, then repositioning your vehicle up the road at the SAFE and LEGAL parking spot. N 45° 14.694 W 75° 47.292. You may be ticketed if you park alongside the road at the put-in! There is a laneway on the east side of the bridge that will lead you to a trail under the bridge where you can launch your boat. Careful on the loose footing under the bridge.
Rooftop boat launching is also available upstream at Bow of the Jock Park, but you will have to portage up and over the submerged road that crosses the river just downstream of the park.
At the posted coordinates you will be looking for a micro in a special container, up high.
Watch for painted, and snapping turtles sunning themselves on logs, and green herons perched on trees on the way to the GZ.
FREE canoe and kayak (Rooftop boats only) launch under the bridge, and parking up the road at N 45° 14.694 W 75° 47.292.
