Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at one end of the Silvercreek Trail, a 4.9km section of the Royal Recreation Trail (RRT) that runs through Guelph. Walking, running or biking along this trail will take you through a quiet park in the Priory Park neighbourhood, Centennial Park, and then down along the Speed River to Gordon Street.

This is a favourite walking trail for my dogs and I as it passes through fields where they can run and chase a ball, water they can take a quick dip in and a wooded area along the Speed River that provides dirt to roll in and lots of things to smell:-)

You'll find this micro-sized, camouflaged matchstick container in a cluster of trees and bushes just past the trailhead sign. There is no need to try to walk into the centre of the trees - moving aside a few branches should do the trick. Depending on the time of day, the nearby park may be busy with kids playing or people walking their dogs. Parking is available across the street in either the mall or plaza parking lot, or along Janefield Ave.
