Geocache Description:

Another in our series of Church Micros in the South Wales area.

Not within the Church precincts, so please don't search in the grounds.

Parking available nearby, BYOP.

The Church dates back to the 12th century, but the existing building dates to 1848-9, it is in the Diocese of St. David's.
The Church is dedicated to St Llawddog, an eminent British saint, who flourished in the early part of the sixth century.
In the SE corner of the Churchyard is a rare surviving small pound, a building type once familiar in rural Wales, built in the C18 or early C19 and shown on the 1838 Tithe map.
There is also a Millennium Time Canister in the boundary wall, which is due to be opened in 2050.
