This cache is placed in an area known as Waikiki Beach by the locals, thus the name, "Mae Makakamea" which means "treasure" in Hawaiian! This is a traditional cache, small size, with tradeables and a travel bug destined for Hawaii! Accessible year round; you have to cross a small, shallow stream; short hike along the beach. This can be a busy camping/play area so keep that in mind. Dog friendly!!
