Linlon alue on Kirkkonummella sijaitseva merellinen retkeilyalue. Kyseessä on saari, joka on lyhyellä sillalla kiinni mantereessa.
Tämä on kolmeosainen multikätkö, joka vie kätköilijän muutamalle mukavalle merelliselle piknik-paikalle. Kaksi ensimmäistä pistettä ovat mikroja, loppukätkö on regular. Kätköilyreitin pituus on noin 6-7 km, reittivalinnoistasi riippuen voit tutustua saareen pitemmänkin vaelluksen merkeissä. Mikään ihan pikasuoritus tämä lyhimmilläänkään ei ole. Ainakin korkean meriveden aikaan saatat tarvita saappaat tai vähintään tukevat, vedenpitävät vaelluskengät selvitäksesi kuivin jaloin.
HUOM. Huollon jälkeen kakkospisteen paikka muutettu, noin 3 m sivuun alkuperäisestä.
Saari on laajemminkin tutustumisen arvoinen. Polkuverkosto on varsin hyvä ja kattava. Saarella on lukuisia nuotiopaikkoja ja pari keittokatosta. Linlon venesatamassa on parkkipaikkoja. Ja alueella on pari muutakin kätköä.
Linlo is a seaside recreational area in Kirkkonummi. It's an island which is connected to the mainland by a short bridge.
This is a three-stage multicache which takes you to a couple of nice picnic spots by the sea. The two first containers are micros, the final cache is a regular. The length of the caching trail is appr. 6-7 km, depending on the paths you choose you may even make a longer hike on the island. Anyway, this is by no means a "park and grab" type of cache. At least during times when the sea level is high you might want to take your rubber boots or at least sturdy, waterproof hiking boots if you wish to clear this with dry feet.
NB. After maintenance the second stage has been moved appr. 3 m from the original position.
The island is well worth exploring even further. The trail network is reasonnably good and extensive. There are several places for campfire and a couple of cooking shelters as well. Parking is available at the Linlo marina. And there are a few other caches there too.
