This is a nice cache to visit as the beginning or the end of a ride on the New River Trail or as part of a visit to downtown Galax home.
This is a TINY cache. You will need to bring a pen and possibly a paper clip to get the log out of the container. You must be STEALTHY. This area is typically fairly busy especially during festivals, and events.
This location was once part of the front yard of The W K Early Home, built in 1903 as shown in a map of Galax from 1922. The maple tree at this location is one of two that stood at the entrance to the house.
