Rufus Cache Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Be prepared for a walk, terrain is not really so difficult, but some areas are rocky.

DCNR approved this cache The cache is located in French Creek State Park. The original stages are 8 Oz margarine tubs with the coordinates of the next destination in black or blue marker on the inside surface of each lid. I've added pill bottles wired into place with coordinates inside because the margarine tubs seem to wander off once in a while. There are a total of 4 locations including the final "treasure" cache. The total walk to the final cache and back to the vicinity of parking for the first cache is a bit over 3 miles. I hear the GPS reception is spotty, so don't be embarrassed to use the clues. Take the coordinates along for part one of Rocks and Hills Multi if you want to get two smilies for your afternoon. (Depending on your route and total preparation for the day you might score an additional 9 or more finds)
