Geocache Description:

Slagtersnek is a real interesting name if translated in Afrikaans. However this street is the street of my home. Slagtersnek is truly a special street not only because it's so steep but it also has it's legends. 

The most famous one is about the postman who deliverd mail with a bicycle. However the bike was ols and rusty and when he finished his job delivering mail he desided to see how fast he can come done. The breaks did endeed fail en the breaking cord snapped. With speeds up to 45mph/72kmph the postman did not stand a chance. And ever since we haven't seen a postman without a motorcycle.
