Geocache Description:

From Pensacola, head East on I-10 to Chipley Exit (SR 77). Go South on 77 about 1 mile. Follow signs to Falling Waters State Park. Enter park and proceed to parking area.

Get a map at the park entrance (3-$4.00 entrance fee). The cache is located along the Wiregrass trail. It is in a military issue ammo can and contains:
A green man (A casting of an original sculpture by Agent Mulder)
    An A-10 Warthog attack aircraft
    A spaceship
    A dinosaur mini-puzzle
Don't fall into the pits!! I have done extensive research on this site over the years, and it has a very colorful past. Read the excellent map/brochure in detail. One story, gleaned from local historical documents, mentions an underground lake that existed during the 1800's, prior to the present waterfall shaft filling in with debris. The article indicates that the lake was big enough to traverse with the boat that stayed docked underground!! This lake was apparently located somewhere below and behind the present observation platform, although modern day searchers have never been able to pinpoint it's exact location!!
