There is a new trail in Clarion County and we decided to use the new real estate to put a shout out to all the geocachers in the area that we have come to know over the years. Additions to this trail will be ongoing as the trail itself progresses to the North and South in the future.
The order in which we placed these caches in no way is a "ranking" or "rating" of geocachers. They are just locations where we thought of different geocachers as we placed them.
Please use the official trail heads when going for these geocaches. The locations of these trail heads are:
Southern Trail Head = N41° 17.5570' W79° 22.9847'
Center Trail Head = N41° 19.8812' W79° 21.2890'
Northern Trail Head = N41° 22.0594' W79° 18.5397'
The new "Rail 66 Country Trail" is a real beauty. You can enjoy this trail by any non-motorized means. Please practice cache in, trash out while a guest here and if you want more information on this young trail, visit the site www.rail66.org. The group who put this trail in place is a non-profit organization who has intentions of paving this trail for the 20 miles that it travels through Clarion County.
There is hunting in the neighboring properties along the trail, so please remember to wear orange during all hunting seasons. Thank you.
